My Glossier picks.

glossier, milky jelly cleanser, moon mask, boy brow, stretch concealer, priming moisturiser, generation g, super pure

Another post raving about Glossier?!?! Yes, it is because, hey, I like a good bandwagon and I can assure you that this is definitely a good’n.

While in New York in November I made a trip to the Glossier showroom which although very nice, was much less fancy than I was expecting but hey, I was there for the haul! I came away with much more than I had planned to and ended up eating McDonald’s breakfasts for the last two days of my trip because lolz skint but it was worth it.

Here’s a round up of the products I’ve tried so far and my thoughts.

The winners:

Milky Jelly Cleanser – people rave about it because it’s just bloody lovely. Super cooling on the skin, makes my face feel as soft as a baby’s backside and super clean without the stripping feeling. I’ll use this forevz, or at least for the foreseeable future.

Boy Brow – again, this is highly raved about but it is fab. I have the blonde shade and it really does set your brows in place – it also works pretty well on its own too if you already have *goals* brows! I sometimes use this alone if I’m feeling lazy and it just adds a good amount of colour and definition. Will be picking up more and possibly the clear version, for sure.

Super Pure – yes, you get a really small amount for the price, however I find it pretty effective for new blemishes especially, and the packaging is rather pleasing to the eye. Simple, non greasy and doesn’t dry my skin out.

The ones I liked, but probably could leave:

Priming moisturiser – I like this and will use it up, but I much prefer a gel cream consistency as I have combination skin and found this to be a little like a sun cream kind of texture. Does the job, but I am not in love.

Mega Greens Galaxy mask I bought this as part of the mask duo (have not yet tried the highly raved about Moon moisturising mask) and first impressions were it smells a little strange, however I do absolutely love using this, very cooling on the skin and I find it does make my skin feel really clean and clarified and is easier to remove than most clay like masks, however I am fickle by nature and the likelihood of repurchasing this is slim, as there’s just so many others out there.

Generation G in Jam – I like this, I do, but because I’m me, I doubt I will repurchase this as I just much prefer a more smudge proof formula. The colour is lovely and it looks pretty nice patted down to a stain like finish so I’m sure I will get some use out of this, but I think the more neutral shades would be more wearable.

Stretch concealer – bit controversial as so many loved this but I don’t quite get it, maybe it’s due to being fanatical about the Collection concealer five years later because it covers spots so well. I used the stretch concealer for both blemishes and under my eyes but still didn’t quite love it, maybe the coverage just isn’t quite there for me.
